of Montreal covers Royal Trux’s “Back to School”

Despite the fact they’ve been touring without rest since before the release of 2007’s best glam concept album Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?, of Montreal has managed to make a couple trips to the studio to give the fans a couple goodies while we wait for furthers news on Skeletal Lamping.
Recently, it’s their cover of the Royal Trux’s dreamy “Back to School.” With Barnes’s mesmerizing vocals and the Royal Trux’s rock and roll charm, of Montreal has most definitely earned the title of Psychedelic Pop Geniuses.
